Now that we know the JT Scrambler Pickup (Wrangler-based pickup truck) will be arriving at dealerships by April 2019, we’ve channeled our creative juices in creating these latest Scrambler renderings to help our legions of Jeep pickup hopefuls imagine the JT Scrambler out doing what it’ll be perfectly suited to do.

No word yet on colors of course but we’ve rendered real-to-life versions based on our spy photos, CAD leaks and insider tips we’ve received — we present it here in in Sarge Green, Hella Yella, Sting-Gray and Firecracker Red.

    Awesome!

Oh man! If that back glass can be taken off, or even better yet, just roll down! How sweet would THAT be?

Gotta have this! Obviously with the 3.0.

Oh awesome. I really hope it says "JEEP" on the tailgate like the gray render and not scrambler.

@JAY anychance you can render us a MOPAR one with the 2" Lift, 37s and some of the MOPAR accessories? :fingerscrossed:

    I'
I'm hoping for a pop out panel that has a storage spot behind the rear seats.

And I actually like the Scrambler tailgate better than the Jeep one lol.

No! Keep the Jeep! This may be our first forum dividing opinion. Jeep or Scrambler tailgate?

Haha I mean I don't mind the Jeep either, I've just never liked Jeep's current font compared to previous stamped tailgates. The Jeep stamping does match up historically with previous Jeep trucks nicely though. :)

Im also not a fan of the JEEP logo on the tailgate handle on the Scrambler version. Just looks too busy, thats why I like the JEEP tailgate better.

Agreed 100% on the handle, although it really doesn't matter what the tailgate or tailgate handle says as I'm gonna put a swing out tire carrier on it anyways and cover all that up lol.

Like a pop out panel accessed from the outside? That would be cool.

I was thinking more of you'd pop the window out from inside the truck, then lower it into a little pouch or storage compartment inside the truck behind the rear seat. I can't imagine it'd take up too much room if it was actually a thing. AND, it'd make the hard top even lighter and easier to handle.

Ok my turn to weigh in on the stamped tailgate. I want to see the Jeep stamp with different paint. The Scrambler stamp in the renderings is black on a painted tailgate, where the Jeep is the same as the body color. I think I would prefer the word Jeep over Scrambler, however the Scrambler looks sharper in the renders because it is a different color.

I also like the old Jeep font better that TexTJ209 shared, however I am afraid it would look weird since it wound not match the font Jeep stamp up front. In addition to the font Jeep is stretched out over the whole tailgate where the rendering is smaller in center of the tailgate.

While fun, none of this is a deal breaker. I will buy it no matter which of these options is the final.

I tried to wait a whole day before I asked more, but I can’t make it. Any chance for a topless render?

Damn kids, never satisfied always wanting more. :)
